Nolasco Vs. Webb Tonight

'Webb has won each of his first nine starts, becoming the first pitcher to do so since Andy Hawkins for the Padres in 1985.

'"Any time you face a guy like him you should automatically elevate a little bit," right fielder Jeremy Hermida said. "It gets you more excited knowing that guy is one of the best out there and you know you have to step your game up a little bit."' (SunSentinel)

Luis talks about his former teammate: "You don't get a lot of fly balls in the outfield when he's playing...You might get two or three, at most. If he's getting a lot of ground balls early, you know he's on top of his game." (MLB)

WOW!: That whooshing sound wasn't the stiff breeze blowing out to center - it was the sound of the air being let out of all the experts' arguments about how legit the Marlins really are, as tonight Ricky Nolasco out-pitches Brandon Webb, and the Hanley-less Marlins beat the Diamondbacks 3-1.
