109 Games to Go

The Marlins get a break before playing in Philadelphia on Friday. They may need a break considering, as a commenter to Berardino's blog post points out, that last night's game "was one of the worst games I think the Marlins have played this year. As a team they were 5/41 (.122 Batting Avg) with 16 strikeouts. They were swinging for the fences all night including our players that are supposed to be line-drive hitters (i.e. Amezaga and Rabelo). They happened to get lucky twice." And yet the Fish almost won that game;, as Alfredo said, the Mets were the ones that got lucky. (SunSentinel)

Let's just hope Cody doesn't cool off. (SouthFloridaFanBlog)

The Mets, Braves and Nats play tonight.
