Next Obstacle

Now that Miami has won 2 out of 3 against Washington, Cincinatti comes
to town. Cincinatti is the only NL team the Fisn haven't already faced
this season. The Marlins are scheduled to play 7 out of their next 10
games against the Reds. The Fish had a 1-6 record against Cincinatti
in 2013. Although their 2014 win-loss records are the same at this
moment, the two teams seem headed in different directions…

Swatting Nats

The Fish start a 3-gamer in Little Havana against the Nationals
tonight. Miami has a 3-5 record against the Nats so far this year,
percentage-wise their worst record against an NL East opponent, just
below their .385 against the Mets. If the Marlins have dreams of a
pennant run this year they will need to have a solution to Washington
- out of the last 11 games of this season they will play against each
other 8 times.
