The Marlins are on a 3-game home win streak and the Braves are on a 4-game road losing streak. The last time the Marlins lost a Saturday home game, and the last time the Braves won a Saturday road game, was here in Miami on July 24.
Anyone taking seriously the ten-game cycle investigation I put out here a couple of days ago may be concerned that today is Game No. 134 for the Fish and that they are 4-9 in games whose numbers end in 4 this year. This year the Marlins are 3-6 in the second-to-the-last game of a home stand. This year the Braves are 6-4 in the second game of road trips.
