(EDITED) The win last night made sure that the Marlins wouldn't finish this series with the Phillies 7 games behind in the standings. Now it will be either 5 games, 3 games or 1 game behind. 2-out-of-3 of those would be an improvement, but that would require at least one more win. Tonight Andrew Miller and Cole Hamels do battle.
