Must-Win-to-the-Nth-Power

8 games left, 5 games back. I was at the game last night, which supposedly had the third-highest attendance this year at LambChop (EDIT: you're right - it should be 'LambShank') Stadium. It was crowded, which giving away tons of tickets to teachers, firefighters, and the military would do. A crazy festive time was present, with a decided lack of Mets fans as compared to earlier games. Tonight though, no free tickets, as Sean Paul takes the Super Saturday stage after the game.

"Big Game" Sean West starts tonight against Marlins-killer John Maine.

The Mets haven't lost on the final Saturday of September since 2002. The Marlins beat the Mets last year on September 26. The Marlins won their last two September 26th games, while on September 26 the Mets have lost their last three games.

HAPPY-RECAPPY: Fish win 9-6.
MORE: Rockies lose too.
