May 2nd has been a day of futility for the Fish. Last year's win against the Padres hopefully breaks a skid which had the Marlins, in its history, going 1-12 on May 2nds (that one win was in 2002). The Cubs, after a six-game win streak, have lost three of their last four May 2nd games.
