Progress!

The Marlins are back on my cable! Now all they need to do is bring
the Tampa Bay Rays back to channel 38.

Continuing Comcast Problem

For years here in South Florida my Comcast cable box would give me the
Marlins games on the Fox Sports Florida channel, which changed this
year to Bally Sports Florida. But for the last 5 days that same
channel (39 on my box) has turned into Bally Sports Southwest, giving
me programming such as Texas football and Rangers games. The Marlins
games have disappeared. Doing searches on https://forums.xfinity.com/
shows that this and similar problems happen across the country. One
customer with 3 cable boxes still gets the Marlins games on his main
TV, but strangely has lost them on the other 2 cable boxes. People in
areas like Detroit and St. Louis report losing the Bally network for
their region, and finding either another Bally network or a screen of
color bars. Comcast reps responding to these posts generally express
bafflement and suggest rebooting the boxes, which doesn't seem to
work. And calling Comcast is reportedly less effective.

Where's the Marlins?

Comcast had Marlins games on Bally Sports Florida scheduled for Friday
and Saturday. But these games did not appear. Maybe they will show
today?

Links Restored

Just like they said, as of this morning (June 3) Google/Blogger has
restored the post that had all of my Marlins/baseball links. Click on
"CLICK HERE FOR LINKS" to access them.

Links Wiped

I will try to restore the links that I had on the main page, which may be a long, laborious process. For ease I had transfered the links from a backup of my old layout to the layout i'm mistakingly using now by putting them all in a post and just linking to that post on the main page. Admittedly I have not checked all those links lately, and many of them were from abandoned blogs that I hoped someday by magic they would restart. On Friday Blogger removed the post (citing links to malware and viruses). But Blogger the next day emailed me, saying they had re-evaluated and restored the post. I haven't been able to find it, though. So I guess I'll try to use their simple tool to create a link list one-by-one. This may take several months...
